Vanilla Ice and more rock the State Fair

Missing all those summer concerts?  Well now you can enjoy some of this year’s best (and cheapest) concerts at the State Fair:

  • Thursday, October 16: “Ice Ice Baby” rapper Vanilla Ice will perform on the fair’s opening night.  Cost $5.   
  • Friday, October 17: Gospel singer Tamela Mann will perform on the first Friday of the Fair.  Cost $10.
  • Saturday, October 18: “She Won’t Be Lonely Long” singer Clay Walker.  Cost $12.
  • Sunday, October 19: Country band Parmalee will perform the first Sunday of the Fair.  Cost $10.
  • Monday, October 20: “Angel Eyes” singers Love and Theft will perform the first Monday of the Fair. Cost $10.
  • Tuesday, October 21: Comedian James Gregory will perform among the Fair’s concerts.  Cost $5.
  • Wednesday, October 22: Country artist Brandy Clark.  Cost $5.
  • Thursday, October 23: Girl group McCLAIN featuring China Anne McClain will perform with special guest Before You Exit.  Cost $10.
  • Friday, October 24: Christian rock band Newsboys’ concert is now sold out of tickets.
  • Saturday, October 25: “You’re Gonna Miss This” and “Just Fishin’” singer Trace Adkins.  Cost $17.
  • Sunday, October 26: Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will end the 2014 N.C. State Fair concerts.  Cost $15.


*Fair admission is NOT included in the concert ticket price.

*Dorton Arena will open at 6:30 p.m. for all concerts, all concerts will start at 7:30 p.m.
