Winter Paralympic update 4

The only medal earned on day 5 of the Paralympic Games was Tatyana McFadden with a silver medal in women’s 1 km sitting cross country sprint.

There were quite a few athletes just off the podium though. Laurie Stephens placed fourth in women’s sitting slalom. Danelle Umstead placed fourth and Staci Mannella placed sixth in women’s visually impaired slalom. Oksana Masters placed fourth in women’s 1 km sitting cross country sprint. Andrew Soule placed fifth and Daniel Cnossen placed sixth in men’s sitting cross country sprint.

Today NCB Sports Network will be airing men’s slalom and ice sledge hockey with the USA taking on Canada.
