Mac DeMarco, April 10 at Duke
Coffeehouse
Montreal
based singer/songwriter Mac DeMarco will be performing at Duke Coffeehouse in
Durham on April 10. The Canadian artist received critical acclaim after the
release of his sophomore LP 2, and will be releasing his third full length Salad Days on April 1 of this year.

Hopscotch
Music Festival is coming back and full weekend passes are on sale right now,
single day passes go on sale in July. The only confirmed artist playing at this
year’s Hopscotch Music Festival is stoner metal band High On Fire.
Phuzz Phest, April 4 – 6 in
Winston-Salem
The
three day Winston-Salem music festival will be featuring well known groups such
as San Francisco psychedelic rock act White Fence, experimental noise punk
outfit No Age and Chapel Hill based indie rock band The Love Langauge. Three
day wristbands are $50, single day passes are $20.

Eccentric
Detroit rapper Danny Brown comes to Carrboro next month in support of his

Hat Ampitheater
The
Kentucky based indie rock quartet will be performing for free at the Red Hat
Amphitheatre on May 2 with special guests Foals. Free.
