Carleigh Cerra |
Carleigh Cerra knows that black and white stripes are in this
year. They're seen on her slim fitting, sophisticated dress and accessorized
with a pair of black strappy sandals and a white headband, a good choice when
you want to keep your hair out of your face throughout the long school day

Left to Right: Gedia Ahmed, Emry Schneeweis and Meghan Schmalzbauer |
No back-to-school wardrobe is complete this year without a pair of brand new, sparkling white Converse. They’re versatile and make dresses look cute and casual and giving a sporty look to a t-shirt and shorts combo. (As seen on Gedia Ahmed)Maxi skirt lovers: you
have nothing to worry about. These flowy garments were in last year and they
haven’t left. What would this world be if we let such a comfortable and cute
alternative to jeans go out of style? The length of Emry Schneeweis’ body is
extended in this printed paisley maxi skirt. It’s not hard to tell what the real trend this season
is: prints on the bottoms, basics on the top. Meghan Schmalzbauer’s elephant
printed pants make a statement with her pair of gray Vans. Her red tank top adds
a pop of color to the neutrals.

Bailey Rhodes and Brooke Vassar |
White Converse, once again! These two friends, Bailey Rhodes and
Brooke Vassar, were accidental twinning in their pairs with their light wash
jeans. Vassar’s outfit is paired with a lace trim white top and it’s clear that
Rhodes knows a flannel is an essential for back to school, especially with the
weather starting to change soon.

Jessy Salaverria |
Plaid is back! Jessy Salaverria is dressed in a laid-back plaid
blouse and washed out denim shorts with a leather Bohemian bag. This look
emulates the chill-vibes of boho country style! Her messy braid pulled off to
the side tops her outfit off. Braids are definitely trending- all the way from
French and Dutch to a simple side braid like Salaverria’s (shown above).

Sonia Talamantes and Laurie Turbeville |
These girls are rocking darker colors yet still staying cool in
this hot weather. Sonia Talamantes continues the trend of plaid shirts with
white converse, but she ties her plaid shirt in the front and wears a graphic
tee underneath to add some personal style to it. Laurie Turbeville with the fun
Aztec printed shorts is rocking a classy yet fun outfit.

Gracie Williams and Dalia Hercules |
Gracie Williams’ outfit
is the perfect amount of chill. She paired a classic gray t-shirt with black
skinnies. Her black against brown canvas shoes complete the outfit. Dalia Hercules is rockin her J’s with a graphic tee
and an American flag print backpack.

Olivia Blake and Macy
Holloman |
|
Kimonos are so in-style
this season. Macy Holloman contrasts her black and white kimono with popping
blue canvas sneakers. Her bright blue shoes add a fun twist to the elegant
kimono. Kimonos are great for Apex High students because they keep you cool in
the burning hot rooms and warm in the rooms that feel like freezers. Olivia Blake looks put together in her sleek black
tank and her black sandals.

Peyton Sickles |
Frockets are t-shirts with more class and style. They
can be preppy and worn with khakis and Sperrys or they can be more urban and
paired with a blazer or chunky sweater! The pocket designs vary from Southern
Marsh and Polo all the way to a funky pattern. Peyton Sickles gets unique with
it, with his frocket featuring X-Men graphics.

Jack Turney

Jack
Turney is embracing the rough skater look with a flat billed hat. He too is
also wearing a frocket that perfectly matches his pants and hat. His Osiris
skater shoes top off his well put together skater outfit.
Liam Tastet is wearing a simple v-neck shirt and khaki shorts paired with tall black Nike socks. Tall socks are popular in men’s fashion from simple black like Tastet is wearing to cool prints and fun colors.
