Taylor Swift, La Dispute among many to perform in N.C. in 2015

There are concerts aplenty in store for North Carolina in 2015. The following list contains some of the most popular artists expected to hit the scene in the upcoming year.
 
97.5 Winter Jam
December 20 - Dorton Arena
Hang out at the Triangle’s iciest winter music festival featuring hip hop and R&B artists such as Cash Out, Rae Sremmurd, Teyana Taylor, Dej Loaf, Snootie Wild.


Ex Hex
January 3 - Kings Barcade
Check out this up and coming rock band signed to North Carolina’s own Merge Records perform in Raleigh in support of their debut album, Rips.

Parquet Courts
January 26 - Kings Barcade
The New York-based indie rock band known for their DIY ethic and raw, unpolished sound is touring after releasing two studio albums this year, Sunbathing Animal and Content Nausea.

Will Butler
March 15 - Pinhook Theater
The Arcade Fire member comes to Durham in support of his solo album Policy, to be released on March 10 on Merge.

 
La Dispute and Title Fight
March 24 - Cat’s Cradle
These highly touted post-hardcore bands tour in support of each other for the first time in what is sure to be the most raucous show of the year.

Swans
March 27 - Cat’s Cradle
A New York based experimental rock outfit known for their noisy and ambient compositions.

April 3 - Red Hat Amphitheatre
An alternative rock quartet that incorporates electronic influences into their sound. Released a string of singles in 2012 which charted in the top 10 on the U.S. Alternative charts including “Tessellate” and “Breezeblocks”.

The Who
April 21 - PNC Arena
The influential and world-renowned rock band, known for the classics “My Generation” and “I Can See for Miles,” celebrates its 50th anniversary with a world tour.

Taylor Swift with Vance Joy
June 9 - PNC Arena
Pop superstar Taylor Swift hits Raleigh in support of her latest release 1989 with “Riptide” singer Vance Joy. 



Idina Menzel
July 22 - Red Hat Amphitheatre

The Broadway star and “Let it Go” singer will perform in what is sure to be the family concert event of the summer.
