North Carolina College Application Week begins November 10 and ends November 14. The program is a statewide promotion prompting high school seniors to apply to North Carolina’s many colleges and universities.

During the week, the application fees of 31 colleges and universities and all community colleges will be waived to encourage seniors to apply. All 36 private colleges and the 16 campuses in the University of North Carolina system offer college application fee waivers (CAFW) based on financial need. Students who took the SAT using a fee waiver are already eligible for application fee waivers which can be accessed through a College Board account. If you are interested in learning if you are eligible for a CAFW, see your counselor or read more for more information.
