Wednesday night held some emotional moments, including George Strait’s Entertainer of the Year win. Strait is retiring from the road, his last tour, The Cowboy Rides Away Tour, ends late May 2014. Other wins of the night included Taylor Swift who received the Pinnacle Award, given to artists who bring country music to a worldwide audience. Swift joins Garth Brooks, who won the award in 2005.
