“Blue, it’s a very calm color.  Surreal in a sense, I mean the sky is blue and whatnot and you can relate to blue in a lot of things… It’s not very exciting but it’s very grounding, like, ‘I guess this is blue.’”

Why Art History:

“In Art History, I want to see how music and art delve into each other and he [Mr. Sands] said he was going to talk [about music and art ] in art history, so I signed up for that and here I am.”

“Purple.  Well, is it bad I like the color purple because it reminds me of certain YouTubers and the ender room in Minecraft?”

“I do anything I’m feeling up to, just anime and sometimes animals.  Everything influences my art style; how other people draw, anime, things in life.”

Chris Caggia and Meghan Peterson are talented artists in Ian Sands Art 1 class.  This week they discussed their art and inspirations with the Legacy reporters.  They are the first participants of the weekly Student Showcase, where student artists can be discovered by their peers.
