transition from winter to early spring is a great time to see some movies, listed
below are the top movies that are coming out late February to early April.
Kingsman: The Secret Service - February 13,
this action film is about a young man starring actor Taron Egerton getting
invited into a prestigious spy agency. (Action)
Fifty Shades of Grey- Also coming out
this Friday is a very controversial movie about an intimate relationship
between a college senior, Dakota Johnson and a very successful entrepreneur,
Jamie Dornan. (Drama)
The Lazarus Effect - This haunting
thriller, coming out February 27, is about a group of scientists experimenting
with bringing the dead back to life. Something goes wrong when one of the
scientists die during a procedure. The team brings her back to life but, she
has changed into “someone” else.(Thriller)
The Vatican Tapes- Another
nail-biting movie coming out on the February 27 is about a young adult who cuts
her finger accidentally and is taken to the emergency room. Her behavior
becomes more and more disturbed and priests believe that she is possessed. The
Vatican is told to perform an exorcism but the possession is worse than they
thought. (Thriller)
Chappie- In the movie
theatres March 6 is a movie about the first robot with feelings and emotions
and how he, Chappie, voiced by Shartlo Copley, changes the views on robots
worldwide. (Comedy)
Cinderella – The classic
story of Disney’s Cinderella comes to life as a live-action feature length film
starring Cate Blanchett. (Adventure)
The Divergent Series:
Insurgent-
The sequel to the first movie in the series Divergent, is coming out March 20.
This action filled movie is about a young girl, played by Shailene Woodley, who
finds she is different from the rest and decides to plot against the
Divergents. (Action)
The Gunman – Coming out on
March 20, a Former Special Forces gunman, played by Sean Penn, is suffering
from PTSD where he tries to reconnect with his former love but, he has to go
through many cities to try to clear his name. (Action)
The Longest Ride – A love story
about star-crossed lovers, one being a champion bull rider and the other
looking to find a dream job involving art in New York City, comes out April 10.
