In a world as vast as Earth, there is a lot going on, some of which may not be front page worthy. Here is some weird, wacky, worldwide news:

Autism rates are rising, with one in sixty-eight children diagnosed with autism.

Former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton were seen sitting next to each other at the NCAA men’s basketball final in Arlington, Texas; this is a surprise to many as the two are not known to be friends due to vastly different political views.

Eight-month-old Prince George is on his first royal tour. While visiting Wellington, New Zealand he attended a parent support group, in which he got to play with other children. However, at one point, he stole a doll from one of his peers, but his mother, Kate Middleton, returned it. I guess royals aren’t so different from us.

Carol Thebarge, a 79-year-old substitute teacher in New Hampshire quits her job, rather than “unfriend” her students on Facebook, after given the ultimatum.

A lawsuit is taking place in West Babylon, New York, by 85-year-old nursing home resident Bernice Youngblood after allegedly becoming a victim of “disgraceful sexual perversion.” This happened when a male stripper came to the nursing home to perform a show. The state Health Department is investigating the incident.

Pennsylvania State University raised $13.3 million for pediatric cancer research in their Dance Marathon, where students danced without sitting, sleeping, or even consuming caffeine for 46 straight hours.
