With the end of the month right around the corner people of all ages are focused on one thing, Halloween. There are many fun aspects of Halloween. There are parties, candy, fun games and activities, but the most important part of Halloween has to be the costumes.
Halloween is the one time a year that you get to dress up and be someone else. Because this event only comes once a year, the decision of what costume to wear is important. If you are feeling like wearing a stereotypical costume such as a witch or a devil, you can find those at a Party City.  However, if you are feeling like being more daring and original, you can venture out to make your own costume. There are tons of ways to make costumes for Halloween. All you need is to be creative and resourceful.

Here are some do it yourself Halloween Costumes:

Nerd

Dressing up like a nerd is one of the simplest yet classic costumes you can make. All you need to do is get a button down shirt with a collar, some suspenders holding up your pants, and some broken glasses held together with tape.

The Incredibles:

For an easy Halloween costume, dress up as your favorite movie character. Being one of the Incredibles is easy to do with things from your own closet. Put on a red shirt, red tights, and black shorts. After that just print out the Incredible logo and add a mask for the full effect.

Favorite band

If you want to dress up as a group, try dressing up as your favorite band. These are easy to make costumes that could be made with things out of your own closet. The only requirement for dressing up as a band is that you have to go around singing that band’s songs.

Batman Villians

Another idea for a group Halloween costume is the cast from Batman movies. There are lots of different possibilities of villains that you can be. Have one friend be Batman and have the rest dress up as miscellaneous villains like the Joker and Cat Woman.
