Most people cannot pay for college on their own, so scholarships can make the financial impact less damaging. There are different techniques when it comes to attaining scholarships though. Scholarships can range from full tuition to a few hundred dollars. Receiving large scholarships can save you thousands to tens of thousands of dollars, but an accumulation of many smaller to midsized scholarships (a few hundred to $1,000) can quickly add up. Here are some possible scholarships, with a complete list accessible on the Apex High School website, http://www.apexhigh.com/.

North Carolina and Out of State College Scholarships:
Scholarships for specific colleges can typically be found on their websites. Upon acceptance to many colleges, students will be immediately considered for available financial aid. Some aid may be given through grants and loans, but there are also scholarships related to an individual’s interests. These may include: athletics, theater, dance, debate, music, medicine and science.

There are many attainable scholarships out there; you just have to find the right one for you.
