Last Sunday the Carolina Hurricanes faced reigning Stanley Cup champions, the L.A. Kings, at home.  The Canes won 2-3 that night, their second win for the year.  Victor Rask scored his first career goal in the first period, Chris Terry scored in the first minute of second and Elias Lindholm put the Canes ahead by scoring with four minutes left in second, making his third goal of the year.  The team’s first win was against the Arizona Coyotes at home on Saturday, winning 3-0.  The consecutive wins haven’t raised the Canes in the NHL rankings, the Canes are currently 16th in the Eastern conference and last in the league.  The team’s next chance to keep the consecutive winning streak is tonight in Columbus, facing the Blue Jackets, at the Nationwide Arena.
