Scholar Artist: Sirmina Dremsizova

Classes next semester: Honors Calculus Three, AP Spanish Language, AP Physics, and Wind Ensemble.

If you could eat one food every day, what would that food be? Nutella sandwiches.  All day, every day.

How long have you been participating in the arts? Since fourth grade.

What is your favorite book? Room by Emma Donoghue. I read it as my choice novel for AP English. I just like the way that it’s written. From [the five year old’s] perspective, it really appealed to me. 

What is your favorite movie? The Notebook.

Who is your favorite artist? Death Cab for Cutie.

What is your favorite subject? Mathematics. To me, it makes a lot of sense. It’s always one definite answer. I like being absolutely and totally certain. I find it fun and fascinating.

What is your favorite social networking site? Twitter is becoming very addictive.

Scholar Artist: Catherine Shocket

Why do you like the arts? It’s a form of expression and communication and a lot of people coming together to make something great.

If you could eat one food every day, what would it be? Capellini Delverde Pasta. I eat it almost every day anyways.

How long have you been participating? Since I was in Kindergarten. My first play was The Pied Piper. I was a rat.

What’s your favorite book? A Tale of Two Cities; I just read it and it was really good. It was really well written, old fashioned, great themes of rebirth and being recalled to life and really great memorable characters and cool stories.

Who’s your favorite artist? My favorite Playwright is Neil Simon. He writes great comedies.

What’s your favorite movie? Rope. It’s so excellent. It has Jimmy Stewart in it, who I love. And suspense and just excellent everything.

What’s your favorite subject? Theater, but I also like English.

What is your favorite social networking site? Who would you recommend following? I am not on any social networking sites. I don’t even know what that means.
